Violence, one of the biggest problem in the world right now, especially in America, where the gun control law are barely enforced, every citizen is at constant risk, considering the amount of people in this country that own guns. Crime and violence are rapidly becoming the prime epidemic in the U.S today, but what can we do to ensure our future generation’s safety? Gun violence is a big problem everywhere, in poor rural neighborhoods to prosperous urban cities like Malibu, it can happen anywhere at any time. The most deadly cases happen in suburban areas where no one would suspect any thing would happen, these areas are the prime target for mass shootings. Fifteen of the twenty-five worst mass shootings in the last decade worldwide occurred in the U nited States of America. This is really telling people something about our country, it says people with guns are crazy and dangerous and America has a lot of it. Even though more guns don’t necessarily mean more murders, the amount of unregistered guns out in the public is a real issue that cannot be ignored. About sixty percent of people in the U.S own guns, the estimated number of guns legally owned by civilians is 270,000,000 to 310,000,000 (FBI), and that’s not counting all the illegally owned firearms. When asked why they need guns, most Americans say that its part of their rights and amendments, to protect themselves and their family. If most people with guns just want to protect themselves, why do so many people die every year from gun violence? The answer is all the illegal firearms that land in the hands of criminals and psychopaths. Because of the almost non-existing rules and regulations, it is very easy for someone to illegally acquire a gun.
